Really?

You think "Tampon Tim" didn't hurt rather than help? I'm sure he really brought out the masculine male voter....

You don't think Kamala's amazing public speeches played a factor?

Walz's favorables were the highest of anybody in the race.

The electorate was mad and made that felt.

Man this looks bad.

I can't believe so many Americans don't care about the insurrection, the mental illness, the threats of basically being a fascist dictator. You'd think what Trump did to the economy and the 9/11 like daily death tolls we had for awhile would have stuck in people's heads a little more. Sorry women of America, you might have to be second class citizens for a long time now.

Remember your purity test Arab Americans who voted for Trump, when Trump gives Bibi a green light to pave Gaza.

Unreal. C'mon Dems, rally.

If Kamala loses tomorrow, the economy will be cited as a major factor (alongside immigration and crime). In my opinion, this will be the biggest messaging failure in the history of politics and Dems should fire all of their pollsters and message consultants. Likewise, mainstream media needs a serious retooling because they’ve completely lost the mindshare of America’s youth.

Dems should legit be winning 2 out of these 3 issues (crime is down and economy is recovering with inflation under control). Even immigration should be a win if you can point to the bipartisan bill that was literally killed by Trump and flip the blame on spineless Republicans. I think Dems are simply too reliant on mainstream media and Hollywood to do the fact checking and messaging for them and haven’t realized that whole swaths of the electorate don’t read/watch them or don’t trust them.

Really, the biggest warning signs for all of us should’ve been the fact that the news cycle was literally dominated for 30+ days by a crime that never occurred (Haitians stealing and eating pets in Springfield, OH) or that half a state drowning in mud no longer trusts FEMA to help them after 48 hours of troll farm tweets.

Anyway, I’m going to bed. I leave y’all with this:

IMO I'm with @gothuevos, let the Pubs have their trifecta. In 2017 they had a trifecta and only managed to give us... A tax bill and a higher deficit.

IMO the best argument against any kind of conservative agenda is to actually implement one.

I have a deeply morbid curiosity about how things will go with a trifecta. How much of that whacked out agenda is Trump going to be able to actually pass vs how much of this was just staying out of jail.

Ah so the “fuck around and find out” stage of the US political experiment.

What argument? We will never vote in a meaningful national election again. Trump will probably run in 2028 on the platform of having never made a bowel movement and win with 94% of the vote.

I'm curious... with a trifecta is it possible for Trump to get the laws changed and go for a 3rd and 4th term?

He'll surround himself with all yes men but I do think they will tamper some of his proposals.

Yes there will be tariffs, deportations, etc but in true Trump fashion, it will be a half hearted effort with a victory lap afterwards.

Dems winning the House will help.

Maybe we'll survive, but with the GOP now fully transformed, hard to say.

When you only make a performative troll moue-face about the deaths of tens of thousands of women and children but refuse to say you will end the supplies of American made JDAMS that are causing those deaths...

yes Trump will support Netanyahu much more than anyone else but he doesn't act like he's concerned about Netayahu's murder spree.

He would have to find a way around a constitutional amendment but he has newfound powers now so who knows?
