Kal-El release date?

I forget the tradeshow but i think microsoft was showing off a kal-el tablet running windows 8 playing a 1080p video that apparently started around 50% processor usage and dropped to ~10%. Would be cool to see the transformer2 with kal-el.
 
The real question is when the first good devices using Kal-El will ship. The Tegra 2 was used in several subpar tablets last year before it actually made it into anything worth owning.
 
The pricing rumor is it will slide into the current transformer pricing. Definately on my christmas list of things to get. Probably sell my current tablet to a friend or craigslist it for 200ish and get the 399 version!
