Here's what I've got
K8V SE Deluxe
AMD 64 2800+
2x512mb Kingmax DDR400 (on approved list)
Gigabyte Gforce FX 5900XT
Can't get it to post bios. If I reset the CMOS, I can get into the bios once. When I set the time, or make any changes, and reboot, it just hangs at the bios splash screen. I cannot even get into the bios at that point. I am not attempting to overclock at all.
I've tried disconnecting everything and just booting the MB, and its the same deal. I've tried a different graphics board and no change. I've tried two power supplies as well, with no change.
I'm testing the Kingmax RAM (on a different Mobo b/c this one wont boot far enough to get to MEMTEST) and it is checking out OK. I've also tried some Corsair value ram but it didn't help.
The really frustrating thing is that it will boot once or twice after the CMOS clears, but only once or twice and never after I enter the bios and make changes.
Is my MOBO fried? Is there anything else I can try.
Thanks,
Brian
