K8N Neo2 Platinum Floppy Drive wont show up anymore

I have know idea when this problem started but noticed that I couldnt boot off my norton ghost bootable floppy today when I wanted to backup my system. I checked my bios and it is setup to boot off first. Under my computer it is missing. I have already put in a new floppy drive and new floppy cable but the same problem. My floppy drive just wont recognize. Need help on what to do to try to fix this.

Well, I went into my bios and now for some reason I notice that the floppy drive is not selected as being installed so I select it and now it shows up in windows but... The light stays on solid (yes the cable is correct and I can't even get that wrong since it is keyed) and system freezes when trying to access a disk on it and system will not boot off bootable disk still. I think my floppy controller on the mobo died and that SUCKS since now I have to RMA it and MSI probably doesnt have an advanced replacement option. What a crock of shit.
