K8N Neo2 fan monitoring?!

I see where the K8N Neo2 can monitor the CPU fan and the NB fan. I was wondering if you hook up case fans to the (2) motherboard headers, could they be monitored also. Like RPM monitoring on 4 fans total (CPU, NB, Case1, Case2)...?

-Thanks

Yes - you can hook up case fans to the two (2) [System] fan headers (SFAN1 and SFAN2). Both the CPU and NB fans (as well as the CPU and System temps) by the Core Center.

However, the BIOS only monitors the speed of one of the system fans. I don't know which one, but I would guess that it is the intake (normally at the front of the case).

You would need a fan monitoring/control software such as Speedfan to monitor four fans. I have four fans (two 80mm intake at front and two 80mm exhaust) fans and as long as my case temp is 27C or less (and reasonably quiet) I don't worry about how fast the fans are spinning.

You can also get a hardware monitoring/control unit for your fans if you want to spend some money...
