To preempt, I've done extensive research on this problem and have found many theories but no single positive resolution :disgust:
The Problem:
When I press the power button, nothing happens (absolutely nothing). Only the Power LED cycles between green and orange.
History:
This happened before. I replaced the PSU (Antec TruPower 550W). The RMA PS had no effect (same problem remained). I got the mobo (MSI's K8N Neo 2) RMA'd and replaced. It then worked for a week. After a while, when I turned it off, it later refused to repower up. I would lay it sideways and it would start. All of a sudden, it stopped responding to being powered on while laying sideways.
Now
So what do I do now? It's ridiculous that a super-expensive computer like this can't even start up properly. I can keep playing the RMA game with Antec and MSI but I'm sure this will keep happening again. What exactly is the problem? If its the mobo, is there an alternate mobo I can trade this one in for that is just *stable*?
