Lets Revive This Thread.

Especially since my Diamond Plus will be here any day.

Found it for 189 @ ZZF till 2/28/06.

Gonna be sweet and I like the slot layout way better than the Asus.

Had a K8N Neo that was rock solid and lives to this day.

I've got a feeling they were able to get away with 3 phase power because they use the full EPS 12 volt slot. Although it will work with only 4 pin. Undoubtedly better if you have the 8 pin eps plug.

3 reviews out and it seems sweet.

Looking on the MSI forum there mainly talking about a phantom modem showing up and some audio issues. There is now a 1.0 bios showing up on MSI's website and talk of a 1.16Beta that some members are passing around. Most exciting is that for as advanced of a board as this is theres not a lot of traffic about it on MSI's own forum. That to me always equals good news.

Probably would be better to start a new thread with a different title. The Official (or Unofficial) K8N Diamond Plus Thread. Or something along that line. That way you can keep it going for a very long time. Seen other threads similar like this for various other mobos in these forums. Just a suggestion anyway.

I'm very happy with my MIS board. I just hope there aren't too many people with current SLI boards who think the 16x boards are going to offer them anything over what they currently have.

I would like to throw in a personal experience...

I recently had a problem with an MSI NEO4 Plat (I love MSI) because of 2T command rate settings that could not change. I even contacted MSI about this and they told me they are shipping all new revision boards with a locked 2t Command Rate to ensue compatability with the newer 1GB modules coming out.

Hopefully this will not be an issue on this board, as I looked at it in depth...but passed for a DFI based on my experience with a newer revision board.

I have my board it is working good except I can't get the microphone to work. Anyone having the same problems?

EDIT: Progress. If I just about yell into my mic I can record it so I can barely hear the recording. So at least it is working but the gain is waaay to low. I don't have the mic. gain checkbox in Windows. Not sure what to do, the Live! I had didn't do this.
