For those iterested in the Diamond series, better wait for the upcoming revision or buy an "older" PSU that isnt build strictly after 1.2ATX standards.

See:

As MSI said, they noticed the problem from the begining and wrote it in the manual....but how can i read the manual before buying the board and why should i read it anyways before buying it?

At least there gonna b a new revision soon and this will have an additional kondensator fixing the Volt-Trouble with the sound chip.

I think everyone (well, at least the people who spend time on this kind of forums) should check out the manuals of the boards they're buying.

its an imperfect world...where companies like MSI produces boards that wont run propperly with standard PSU`s and buyers dont like to read boring manuals unless they facing troubles caused by the producers.

I agree with that, and so does MSI apparentely. They recommend you to send back the board if you got one with this problem.

I just can't believe that they would release the board in the first place.

lol, slippy. But hey, they are diamond club members...so now we know what its good for beeing a member of this elitary club...find an error and get support. superb!
