K7VZA Board causes Power to Drag!

My friends and I have purchased 4 of these motherboards. 3 of us have noticed that the fan drags down for a second when a program is open. It even drags down when you click on the start button. We are running 1.4 Athlons at 266 FSB. The one person who has not reported a dragging problem is running a 1.2 Athlon. We are running Windows 98, 98SE, and ME. Has anyone else noticed the fan dragging on their K7VZA board? I also have a K7S5A, but it doesn't cause a surge or drop in power to the fan and it is running a 1.4.
