K7VTA3 V5.0 sound only coming from one side. Please help.

Hi guys,
I got an ECS K7VTA3 V5.0 which has VIA chipsets with VIA sound AC97' sound. However, I cannot get the sound to be stereo. Sound is only coming one side which is the left side. I have check the jumpers settings on board and it remains as default. Anyone who has this problem please help me.
I do have the latest drivers updates and DX9.0B.

Have you tried a diff. pair of speakers? Have you tried giggling the stereo connector that plugs into the audio out port to see if it gives stereo, even momentarily. Might be a bad audio out port.
