K7V Dragon max CPU

I have a K7V Dragon, currently running with a Athlon XP 1700+. The mobo spec sheet says that is the maximum CPU for the motherbaord, but I wonder if this is simply because it was the maximum CPU out when the motherbaord was made. In other words, am I limited by the chipset, bus speed, and highest multiplier setting, or is there somethign else that could prevent me from using a CPU above 1700+?

You're probably limited by bus speed (ie, 133Mhz x 2 = 266Mhz), but you could still probably put a faster chip (Thoroughbred or maybe a mobile) in the board.
