I am having big time problems with my new GeForce 2 MX card. When I try to boot the system I get a windows protection error you must restart the computer message. When I restart it tells me that my video card information is incorrect and must be fixed. I do this and after the restart everything is hunky-dorey... until I restart the computer again then the whole cycle begins again. This means that everytme I need to boot my somputer it takes 3 boots. It's really starting to annoy me at this point. There are no resource conflictsin the system and I even tried forcing it to AGP 1x that didn't help either.
My Specs:
T-Bird 900
MSI K7T Pro-2a (Kt133 chipset VIA 4-in-1 ver 4.28)
448 MB RAM
DIamond Monster Sound MX 300 (using Aureal Reference drivers ver. 2048)
Hollywood Mpeg Decoder
10 Mb Network card
Promise ATA66 controller card (I have 6 IDE devices)
This problem did not come up until I upgraded from a TNT2 Ultra. Thanks for any help.
