K7T266 Pro2-RU Bios Problem...!

This is my main problem mapped out as best as possible using a KVT266 Pro2-RU MB.

Everything in the bios is fine.. bios is version 3.2.. except for when I go to the hardware profile section and it will show me the current temp and RPM but I have no options to pick anything and I can't move around.. So in essence it freezes up and I can't go back. Now.. when I clear the bios or try to make a bootable floopy and put it on the computer... it will not bootup.. so I can't even try to flash the bios. When I take the disk out of the comp and put it back in my laptop it says that my disk needs to be formatted.. so I'm running into a bunch of problems.. if this helps you understand the problem it would be great.. hmmm

i have the same board and the only thing i can suggest is updating your bios to ver 3.3. you can do so by going to msicomputer.com. hope it works out for ya! take care -davo ?

aye not much luck.. everytime I try to make a bootdisk.. I cant even get that to work prop.. I'm gonna try to install win98se on the machine first before I update

I tried the Live BIOS update for this board, and it screwed up the BIOS ; had to leave the PC off for ~15 minutes before it would start again. I finally updated the old fashioned way with the same BIOS (3.3) and all is fine now. MSI also has something on thier site about getting the BIOS replaced if it goes bad. I believe it would be free.

everything is peachy.. cept for I can't change my dang FSB... anyone got any suggestions?.. bios locks up on me when I go into hardware profile.. everything else works like a charm. btw.. I've got 3.3
