I just won a Athlon MP (1800+) at AMD's giveaway in Philly, well it comes with the MB mentioned in the title and I just wanted to know if this is a good board or not. I don't OC and I can spare $70 for the ECS K7S5A, what should I do?
 
Yup, it's an awesome board. It has the KT266A chipset, USB 2.0 and onboard RAID via a integrated Promise controller....not to mention it's on a red PCB. 🙂
 
maybe I have a different board, mine is green, but the book says pro-ru. I think its just a K7t266 Pro.
 
Even the original KT266 version is good, not the fastest but it`s MSI and is very stable so you did well 🙂.
 
I agree with Mem, it's a great board...especially for free! I wouldn't spend more money for an ECS if the MSI works fine..🙂
