K7T Turbo 2 won't find secondary IDE...HELP!!!!!!

No matter what I plug into primary, CMOS finds it. When I plug those same drives into secondary, NOTHING! Loaded fail-safe defaults and still no worky. I have had 2 boards with the exact same problem. Reseller claims first board tested good. Any Ideas?

First off, when most "testing" by resellers is done, they just check the basics. Good chance they did not check the secondary IDE port. Other than that, yes, double check the BIOS settings are correct and (if a HDD) it is very important that the jumpers are correct on the drive. Failing that, RMA that sucker. Another (last) thought............have you tried a different cable??

Now that you have (finally) showed us a bit more info, it is clear that you have a bad BIOS and/or BIOS chip. That could inhibit the secondary IDE among other things. Yeah, just RMA the thing. Easier than waiting for a new BIOS chip and hoping that would solve it.
