Which is a more acurate temp reading? he system health reading in the bios, or using SiSoft CPU info module. There's a huge difference, with SiSoft reading higher than the bios reading. I'm running a 600 Duron in the MB

bios, but remember that neither are really "accurate" by any reasonable means. Sandra however, has serious issues with "trying" to read temps. The bios is accurate for where it measures temp(which is an inherently inaccurate spot for representing core temp).

Yep, Mike has been of a great help to me too. He's one of TA's more informed members on the issue of temperature readings for current CPUs.

By the way, i have a TBird 950Mhz at 1.75V set in bios (1.8V in health sceren) and an FOP38. It runs at 46 degrees full load, readings using MBM 5.0.
