Well, it looks like ECS has decided to redisign the box... it looks kinna cool it states:
" Socket A Mainboard
Enriching your pc experience"
He he, i like the new box...
I got it from outpust btw,
it is my 11-th K7S5A and so far no problems whatsoever... just improvment, a new box... lol

New box...and with a clip for the AGP card which gets in the way....and can pass memtest86 with 1.4 Tbirds from what I hear.

I also noticed the new box.

I just put together my second k7s5a based system, and like the first one, it's so stable it's getting boring. For this one, I paid all of $52 (Newegg), the last one cost me about $60, five months ago or so.

I think this motherboard is absolutely wonderful: dirt cheap, rock solid, great performance. I also love the fact that it performs almost equally well whether you use SDRAM or DDR RAM. Given RAM prices these days, you don't want to throw the old SDRAM away just to get, say, 15% more points in 3d mark 2001! Plus, the built-in NIC is useful too.

Last but not least, it feels good to know there's absolutely no VIA crap inside your system.

<< PICs? >>

LOL 😀 Now that's something you don't often see asked out side of ATOT 😀

Bah... I got the same thing from newegg.

Now I'm packing it up and shipping it out. It's just another green box. I still prefer the IWill clamshell boxes. Way cooler.
