K7S5A hardware monitor software not working?

Just upgraded an old PII-333 to a Duron 1Ghz/ECS K7S5A ($99 at Fry's, what a deal :D). The only thing I can't get to work right is the hardware monitor software. It gives me some sort of error basically saying it can't find the SiS hardware or something. Anyone know of a fix for this or alternative software that can tap into the hardware monitor? Thanks a bunch.

the best hardware monitoring program (at least the best in my opinion) is motherboard monitor 5..

here is a link to MBM5

just as a note :)

the first time you use mbm5 it can be a little confusing, and hard to set up, but once you get familar with it, it rocks!!!

I prefer MBProbe, but MBM works well as well.

Just make sure you understand which sensor is which. You'll generally get 3 different ones; only 2 of them are accurate in any sense, as there is no thermal sensor in the SiS 735 chipset. You've just got case temp and CPU temp.

I second MBProbe. Its freeware, whereas I think MBM 5 is shareware with nags.

I bought 2 of those Fry's deals. Both systems working great and overclocked using CPUFSB software.
