Well, bought the K7 Master and a 1.33Ghz AMD with some nice DDR ram. Finally received the cpu/motherboard today (had ram last week) and installed it.
My only complaint is the size of the board -- its a little larger than what I expected. Other than that, its fast, worked right away and seems stable under Win2k for games and my normal applications.
So far, so good! I didn't go Epox because I didn't care about oc'ing (been there, done that), and everyone recommended this board as being stable. The final kicker was virtually no one posted about this board within the last three weeks about config problems/help, etc. That's a completely minor thing, but when I don't see any news about a piece of hardware, I think that's good news.
