ok.....1900 wasnt really stable when i geve it the pc95 test or whateva, so i went back to 1800
at one time w/ the test the temp got up to fifty, with one side removed, and time to ventalate, it usually dropped about 6-8 degrees. I bought a new case, and quieter heatsink and fan...no i run a constant of about 45 at the peak, and 39 on the board. the reason the case is so bad is there is only like one air hole on the front, and then a slot under the face, but the flor usually covers this, the case i bought was 35 shipped, came in like two days, w/the cheapest shipping, and im pawning my other off on a comupter im building for someone else(they bought mine).
i suggest at least changing cases, as that seems to be the biggest problem and quite constant for everyone

btw....i looked it up and the burnout temp for the xp 1700 is 70 degrees...so most people will be fine w/ the high of around 50 that i was gettin in that case. and if you put the bux speed at 137 or 140, it is actualyseems to be runniing better (i havent had a "hiccup" yet)....actally i read on the soyo sight....if there is the sudden reboot, try setting your ddr bus speed to 100mhz, but couldnt figure that out.....

heres the thread where i found the case PC direct source only had one rating on Resellerratings b4 the big closing, but it was a 7.0, and i would give it another 7.0 if it was still around

hope this helps

well it booted at 1900, but wasnt stable when i tested it with software designed to test stability when overclocked, so bumped down to 1800....pretty stable there, was thinking it was more stable, b/c i have the random reboot prob. from time to tiem, but now i put it back to 1700 just b/c it might be more stable, not sure yet, anyway if you dont know how to overclock your system, DONT DO IT you can easily F#$% up your system......if youve done it before, then its obvious and easy to do.......i dont wanna feel bad for telling someone how to ruin their computer, so im gonna let you find out from someone else
