K75SA Combo Dead?

I received a K75SA and a Athlon 900mhz. No clue if it works or not.
So I purchased 1 stick of 256mb pc2100 DDR, grabbed an extra HDD and PSU and put it all together.

Mobo, HDD, CD-Rom, CPU-Fan powers up, no beeps from the speaker (if the speaker even works), but theres no response/display on the monitor. Tried three different video cards, and nothing.

Not familiar with the K75SA or anything AMD. Any suggestions on what it may be before pitching it? Unfortunately I have no other board/processor to test with.

Thanks.

What power supply (brand/model) are you using? The K75SA happens to be particularly fussy when it comes to power supplies. You need a high quality power supply.

Hrm, wierd. It did power on - but i'm using a no named brand. Least I'm not familiar with it:

AGI Model # HP-250NLXAK

It was the power supply that came with the combo in a case. Unfortunately the previous owner passed away, so i'm not sure of the status on any of it.

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, it's a pretty good possibilty that is your problem. Just because it powers on somewhat does not mean a power supply is working good enough.
