Is it really true ? These are pretty fast ? I have an old mobo that takes it and I'll be more than happy to get a k6-3s off e-ba$ auction site to increase output...

Unfortunately, the k6 series of chips stink pretty bad at RC5. Any added output is welcome, of course, but a k6-3 will have a little more than half the keyrate of an similarly clocked p2 or p3 chip. In OGR (and Gamma Flux, too, I believe), however, the k6 series of chips kicks some serious butt. They are every bit as fast as p2s and p3s.

As I understand from all the postings on the forum, a k6 will be more efficient on OGR.
non the less, it will be an valuable asset to TA. :D :D

I've 3 K6-3 400@450 and they get about 700+ kksec (from memory, I'll check the exact number and post later)

Oh dang, I must be smoking something when reading... I currently have a p1-200mmx on it, getting a case & etc for it, I'm sure a 300+mhz would be faster ?
