K6-2+ and L3 cache

You are wrong. "ohne L3 cache" means without L3 cache.
L3 enabled is faster. Why do you want to disable it ?

I just thought of disabling the L3 cache in case it would be degrading the system performance.
Now I´m sure to make the upgrade from a 350 MHz k6-2 @ 400Mhz to a 500 Mhz k6-2+ and, possibly, O´C it to 600 Mhz (yes!).

Thanks for the explanation, Ben.

The reason he disabled it was for stability, right? Not many 1mb SS7 boards support >100fsb very well. Even fewer 2mb SS7 boards are out there, but they are out there.

Wow, they're actually in stock. But its pretty high considering their actual cost to the distributor. 🙁
