Any American citizen here marry a foreigner before and still live in the US? Trying to see what obstacles I may run into, or is it fairly straightforward?

From what I gather I need to fill out an I-129F form, to apply for a K-1 and K-2(child) Visa. I have read all the requirements for the K-1 off of the uscis.gov website, just wondering if anyone has been through the process and found something they did not expect

+1 for http://www.visajourney.com/

Yeah I did a K1 with my wife as well. They show what steps to take in terms of getting the main "package" together. There was so much stuff that needed to be sent....

The only problem I encountered was me putting in my wife's maiden name and my last name combined on one of the forms. I had to call some 1800 number and wait on hold forever to get that changed. If I could do it all over again I would have my wife just keep her original name. Now we have to also send her passport into a consulate to get her last name changed on that as well.
