This is a double-DIN chassis car audio system. Tuner, CD, cassette. I've had my eye on this thing for some time....Aluminum color matches my car well. Has a nice large display which is big enough to display frequency, clock, equalizer display all at once.

I signed up for a BestBuy credit card and got another 10% off. There's an input on the front to connect another device...nice deal for me. This thing cost over $350 when it first came out. Even came with a remote...also can control a remote cd changer.

You might find this cheaper on-line, but BestBuy is convenient for me. YMMV
 
It won't play mp3s, but there's that input on the front to attach an external player. You know there are many people with cassette collections who don't want to be bothered with converting. The large form factor gives the unit enough space for a cassette slot plus a cd slot. I don't think you can go wrong with a JVC.
