JVC GR-DVM55u $399.99 at Sears B&M YMMV

I have been looking for a minidv camcorder and I found a JVC minidv model GR-DVM55u at Sears. The sales rep said JVC is discontinuing this line so it was marked down to $399.99 plus tax. It seems like a good deal to me as the lowest price I saw on pricescan.com was $659.

You can get the higher end DVM90U for about the same price, new in box for about $450.

I bought the 90 about two months ago and it is much better than the 55...more features.

Got mine from Ritz Camera. Both these models are from last year...so you should be able to find them heavily discounted...even more so than the $399 for the 55U.
