Justified final season begins tonight (1/20/15)

I liked Justified, but got tired of having the same (at least part of storyline) bad guy all the time (Boyd). Good, bad, good, bad, they just keep having him go back and forth. I wish they just moved on from him after the first season.

There's something about the show I like, hard to put my finger on it. Only seen the final season so I'm sure there's a lot I'm missing but it's a nice, easy watch and occasionally funny (I liked Choo-choo)

It's really underrated IMO. It's not a perfect show but it's better than any number of shows that have achieved far more popularity (e.g., Homeland, Sons of Anarchy). The second season, in particular, is one of the finest seasons of any of the modern serialized shows IMO.

I was really disappointed with the first show of this season and the second wasn't much better. But it's really started getting pretty damned intense these past few episodes. We pretty much know that Raylan is going to ride off into the sunset but the question is who else is going to be left? I almost can't wait for the showdown between Raylan and Markum's hired gun.

Will Raylan turn in his badge when it's all over? Looks like maybe he already has.

i love the colorful, drawn-out, trash talking dialog. closest thing to Deadwood since Deadwood.

You know, it don't bother me much running into a cop from this town that's bent to shit. I grew up around here kinda expect it now and then.

What irritates me is when you call 'em on it, and they give you this look like, "how dare you insinuate I'm a piece of shit tarnishing my badge?"

I see you doing the math, whether you're gonna tolerate the insult. But you should know, one of your co-workers is in the hospital with brain bleed, and this boy's brother's dead, so you might wanna factor them items into the equation before you decide what you're gonna do next.

The marshal service have spent a lot of time and effort apprehending a fugitive that's now out on the run, and lives are in danger because of it, so every time you open your mealy mouth to lie, I think of that, and I start picturing how you'd look without any of your god. damn. teeth.

Yeah. Honestly the dialog is what keeps me coming back. The story is, well, a story. But the dialog writing is top notch.

Boyd "I'm so hungry I could eat the ass end out of a low flying duck"

Walton Goggins is great. He'll always be Shane to me, but Boyd is a great character.

Maybe my favorite show on TV right now. Certainly the most entertaining. Walter Goggins as Boyd Crowder is incredible. I've read opinions from others that were disappointed that Boyd is the main focus of the final season, but I can't imagine it any other way.

OT: Yesterday, I began watching the new Fox comedy "The Last Man On Earth" (they've aired eight episodes so far). I laughed like I haven't laughed at a comedy in years. Really hope they can keep it up.

 I basically said the same thing in the LMOE thread, I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard at a show.
