Don't you understand that he's entitled to do as he pleases? /s

"Describing Crow and his wife, Kathy, as “among our dearest friends,” Thomas said in a statement that he was advised by colleagues on the nation’s highest court and others in the federal judiciary that “this sort of personal hospitality from close personal friends, who did not have business before the Court, was not reportable.” Thomas did not name the other justices or those in the judiciary with whom he had consulted...

...Supreme Court justices, like other federal judges, are required to file an annual financial disclosure report which asks them to list gifts they have received, but provides exemptions for hospitality from friends...

...New York University law professor Stephen Gillers, an authority on legal ethics, said Thomas’ statement “is an abdication of his responsibility” under ethics guidelines.

“Thomas is shamelessly seeking to shift the blame for his failure to report Crow’s princely hospitality to advice he allegedly received from other Justices when he joined the court more than 30 years ago. Most of them are now dead and, conveniently, cannot contradict him,” Gillers wrote in an email.

Charles Geyh, a law professor at Indiana University who studies judicial ethics, wrote in an email that he doubts any justice would have advised Thomas against disclosure if he had laid out the details in ProPublica’s report, “hundreds of thousands of dollars in luxurious travel and accommodations at exotic locales spanning decades, from a benefactor who has a deeply rooted partisan and ideological interest in the future of the Court on which the justice sits.”

NOTHING TO SEE HERE FOLKS.
As if his position on the court had nothing to do with his relationship with a top republican donor. Fuck that guy.

After the Trump appointments to the court, I began hearing a theory posited that Thomas had gone full cynic, with a goal to burn everything down. This is his payback for all the supposed slights he received starting with the Anita Hill testimony.

Yes, I’ve been saying this for years. SCOTUS has essentially legalized bribery of public officials.
The Republican party would cease to exist without dark money and since the Republicans believe themselves to hold the one true and only correct political belief they can justify anything without even being consciously aware they are doing so to keep that from happening.

Remember Barry Goldwater’s statements that “extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice” and “moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue.” These people think they know what is vice and what is virtue and if there are Republicans that actually don't give two shits about their own moral state, you can bet your ass they will know enough to hide behind such claims.

It is important to remember when one is witness to the moral fanaticism that drives Republican authoritarianism that it will always produce a similar reaction, a desire among liberals to justify extremism as payback,

We do realize that Anita Hill was indeed telling the truth after all.
I never had a doubt after watching the hearings, I've always thought she was telling the truth. She gained nothing from coming forward, and her testimony was more convincing and genuine than Thomas IMHO. That's how I saw it anyway.

At that time, I wasn't even interested in politics yet, but it seemed a big deal when there was a potential SCOTUS justice being confirmed that was a rapist. Now we have two! Uncle Thom and Boofer Bro.

Clarence Thomas decided that the ony way for him to join the "Big Boys Club" was to sell his soul to the Gods of Corporate America and ever since he's been quite the tool for them to hammer their agenda through that Court. He gave up his pride and his honor, took the white pill and never looked back.

Sad.

His wife is bat shit mental. If you could go back in time and show a young Clarence who his dreamheart would turn out to be do you think he'd still plow on and spaff her walls?

We know how much Republicans are against selling political access via family members, so I’m very sure they will be outraged by this.

Nothing will be done about it. The Thomas’ have been publicly corrupt for years. Her consulting business is pretty much just selling access to the Court, and the evidence suggests she was an active participant in an attempted coup.

never mind that Affirmative Action got him through school and practice and all of that and put him there, which he comfortably and proudly used, only to try and violently dismantle it for everyone else that absolutely needs the same assistance that he did.

And Biden should hang his head in shame.

It’s old enough to know what you are getting into from a marriage perspective.
Some people can be brilliant in a subject, such as law, though that brilliance will often be questioned and be dead stupid in others like life, marriage, simple stuff. I'm not defending him but want to point out 40 isn't old.

And Biden should hang his head in shame.

Joe Biden won the 2020 election because he was running against a straight-up POS criminal in the sucker/loser Dumpster not because he was some "great guy".

Truth is Joe Biden is 100% an "old school" politician and can be associated with the people who kept us in Vietnam, the disastrous failed "war on drugs" and a fairly large slice of the blame for global warming re: our addiction to fossil-fuel among MANY other things that genuinely suck.

Given a choice between Biden and ANY RepubliCRAP candidate it's a no-brainer that I'll vote democrat, but it would sure as hell be nice to see a person who ACTUALLY REPRESENTED ME be elected POTUS for once.

I never said 40 was old. Just old enough to know a few things.
I misread the intent of your original post because it seemed you implied it was. I'm sure Clarence Thomas can still get it up without a boner pill to drill his wife, provided his penis can surpass the mounds of fat.

I for one wouldn't bet on it! ;)

Also how are you supposed to "roll her around and find the wet spot" when every crack and crevice is full of slippery unwashed @$$ sweat?
