I put a 27" Sanyo tv on cl for my mom at 50 bucks. I the following email..
"Have you sold this tv? Could it be delivered to Little Rock near Steinmart?
My phone # is ********** and email address is *****@netscape.net

Thank you"

What makes is bad is my mom lives one hour from LR so it would be a 2 hour total trip to deliver a 50 dollar tv, some people are insane
 
I had worse.. I listed a car and got some guy begging me to finance it for him at $100 per month. what do i look like a fucking bank

I sold a 27" TV on craigslist. 3 Indians showed up at my house wheeling and dealing me even though I told them $40 firm on the phone.

Then after they lie to me about not having the cash.... they finally pull out 2 20's. But it didn't stop there. They swore that I had DVD's and a DVD player in the picture with the TV so I had to include that for the price. Then after I turned on the TV to show them it works with cable they said the picture looked funny. It was perfect though.

I will NEVER do Craigslist again unless it's worth selling. An old TV is a waste of time... I'd rather give it away.

Ya know. It's in their nature, they can't help it I think. I used to work in an electronics store and all sales people (including me) ran the other way whenever an Indian dude would walk in with his friends (or family it seems since thats how they used to buy a dvd player) and they'd just waste your time and not buy anything for the most part. Call it a stereotype, but I worked there for 5 years and that fact never changed.

That's where you call the police on them and keep them busy until they show up and tell the cop you have no idea who they are but they were threatening you. 😉

Be fair, if you're bargain hunting on Craigslist, you're presumably getting the item for cheaper than you would find it anywhere else. I don't think there's a reasonable expectation that a seller should also deliver the item for free when you're getting the best bargain imaginable. I'm not saying it wouldn't be a nice gesture on the part of the seller, but I wouldn't go so far as to say a guy was a dick for not wanting to drive more than 5 miles to unload some old electronics below market value.
