Just when you thought you saw it all

You got that right, tho I just cannot help saying the water isn't the problem in itself it's you.

Figure that one out. 😛

You do realize it's intended for use on a boat, right? Even if you don't sink the thing, rain is always a potential problem. Or wash-down afterwards.

Although if you wonder why you'd have enough transducers and such to even need a switch, then I'm with you.

Yeah, it's not that surprising. It's the 21st century, gotta have interwebs when you're at sea.

Raise your hand if you have installed TV, internet or phone service at a dock for people who drift from place to place.

Raise your hand if you have been asked to drill a hole in a boat to install cable and refused.

/raises hand.

Thought I would get your attention. The switch I referred to in the op is to link multiple graph units and a trolling motor to multiple transducers simultaneously. Correctly set up, the trolling motor will follow an offset from the shoreline among other options.
This year I have installed 4 to 6K of electronics on several boats under 21 feet.

I probably know a few people in the Chicago area who wish they had a waterproof router last week :awe:

So they had a choice between not having internet and not sinking? Man, tough call.
