Just when you think your day could be any worse - your office catches fire.

I work at a pizza place - I'm a driver and manager. Today I show up for work - two drivers have quit, bringing our driving staff to three to cover two cities. On top of that, we're having torrential downpours tonight, so every Joe-blow in town will want pizza (rain and pizza - why do the two go together?).

My first deliveries went smooth, and when I returned to the store, the pizzas I had to deliver were the ones that were sitting on the rack when I left on my first run. Great - hour old pizzas - Then, three of those deliveries had something wrong with the addresses, so by the time I got everything sorted out and delivered, I was delivering two hour old pizzas at no charge.

It's pouring to the point where I can't go above 20mph, I'm soaked, and the traction control in my car is going berserk. My day was going pretty sh!tty.

On top of that, the other driver is new and has no place to store her money - so where does she decide is a great place to put it? - in the store microwave or course! 😕 My boss was heating up dinner tonight, and since the microwave is on a tall shelf, she couldn't see inside beforehand. Mid way through the nuke process, the money and checks burst into flames, scorching the microwave, leaving a nice film on the ceiling and a friendly inviting smell, the kind of thing you want in a place you're buying food from. :frown:

When I go to sleep, maybe I should cover myself in pillows in case the ceiling decides to fall in.

It just seemed like every little thing that could go wrong did - I only posted the big things. On top of the rain, all of the frogs decided to come out today (since it is our first big storm of the season). I did my part in erradicating at least 100 frogs as they jumped onto the road - my favorite animals 🙁

Today, i went to Little Caesars and ordered a $5 pizza and 2 $1 breadsticks. It was rather tasty.

I don't know why, but I actually laughed out loud at this response.
