Just when I thought those huge spoilers were bad...

All those fake and fairly useless giant rally car spoilers seen ricers around the nation are pretty bad but I saw something today that made me shake my head....a brand new Dodge Caliber or whatever it is called....without the giant spoiler....but at least 22 maybe 23 inch rims....I mean it looked like the guy had to get the car lifted slightly to fit the wheels...which is made all the more ridiculous by the fact that we had a snowstorm in Michigan today...I wonder how long it's gonna take him to crash in the bad winter weather...

I can't even come up with the proper grammar to insult how stupid those cars look.

It is proper grammar 😛 The "donk" is short for "donkey kong" In other words huge 😛
What the fuck is the point. I mean fucking hell, it is utterly ridiculous. If you are making a show car, okay - do whatever; this goes for the stupid lifted trucks and even though I love them, sports/muscle cars.

But a $1000 POS Caprice or Crown Vic with wheels worth more than the car, lifted high, fucking the stock suspension and overworking the stock brakes? Great fucking idea.

Lol how pathetic.

A "ghetto" car dealer that I use to drive past had cars a bit like this, though not quite as extreme. At one point they had an advertisement out front
stating, "Mac Daddy Caprices Available".

This happens because they're drug dealers. They can't put down $40k on a nice car in cash so instead they buy a ~$3000 car in January, spread the wheels across a few months, then the stereo, then the interior, etc etc.

I'm serious about this btw..

Truth +1

I just hate chrome rims on any car regardless of the size. Spinners or no spinners, too big or just the right size, it just looks stupid.

Just for kicks I was looking at Vette's recently and there isn't one within 200 miles of me that doesn't have chrome rims.

this is going to be racist, but look at your avy 😛

It make sense.

Actually DONKS are very popular with white people too.

People are usually just jealous they don't have the balls to pull off something like that on their own.

While this is not country wide, I've never seen a white person drive a donk in Dallas, and I've actually seen quite a few running around (most not to those extremes, maybe 24 inches or so)

You can use the internet to do a search in dallas for donks...look white people own some.

Again though you can't expect to see the whole city from a playpen out front.

Not like Donks are that common anyway.

The balls? Here we go again with your inane BS.

Appreciate these cars. They make the elegant and classy cars that much better. Every time I see a car (or a person for that matter) like that I just feel great that I have a brain.

You see...it is shit like that why I have to drive around certain areas of town. Not because I'm a racist, but because it gets fucking annoying getting people flagging you down at every other stoplight saying "how much you want for that Caprice?". It. Gets. Old.

I actually LIKE my 87 Caprice. When you get down to it, Caprices are very solid, comfortable, and reliable. Mine has been mostly restored, but only back to original condition. It makes me sick to see what people do to those types of cars....
