I've got only one thing to say!

GET A REAL OS!

You won't experience that under win2k or Linux that's for sure...

Anyway sorry to hear you got a dud :(

Uhmmm me is embarrased...

I haven't had those kinda problems EVER under win2k... weird... you're sure your system is otherwise healthy? No "too high OC" action or anything like that?

HMM...I burn all the time on my Yamaha/EZ CD Creator with RC5 running. Never had a problem, even when burning Mandrake. Severely overclocked system. I wonder if it's something specific to Nero?

No it isnt. I have the same problem on 3 PCs, 2 are NT, 1 is 2000 Pro. The culprit is Easy CD Creator 3.51 (fully updated) and 2 HP burners, 1 Yamaha. Cannot burn a CD with the client running on those computers!:(

MWalkden,

That's strange. I'm using the Yamaha SCSI 8x4x24 with EZ CD Creator 3.51, with no updates at all. I have 4.02, but 3.51 has worked so well, I've never bothered to upgrade. I'm using 98SE, though.
