Hulk tries to get frisky with Betty? ;)

seriously though, if Bruce and Betty has a child, will it inherit Hulk's genes?

some questions about the movie:

during the movie, it seem the Hulk just gets bigger and bigger....is this due to his ability to absorb the attacking energy and use it to his advantage?

what did his dad turn into at the end? still scratching head about this one.

what happened to his lab partner after the accident? did he explode like the frog?

why did his dad need Bruce to finish his (dad's) evolution? didn't he get a sample of Bruce's hair? shouldn't that be enough?

will there be Hulk 2? :)

Oh - about the sequel - None of the original actors have any interest in doing a sequel. The studio has no real interest because the first one was a box office flop. Only the director has an interest in doing a sequel from what I've read. Hard to do when you don't have an original cast or a studio providing financial backing.

That sucks....this movie is pretty the same as Spiderman in terms of quality, I would love to see a sequal.

it's a recessive gene and betty isn't a carrier, so no.

I'm one of the few people who really liked the Hulk. The CGI was not entirely realistic but it didn't ruin the movie for me. As a superheroe flick, this one has much deeper plot, character development, and more emotion than Spiderman or Dare Devil.

I believe the Hulk gets bigger and bigger the madder he gets but this also means his intelligence is inversely affected.

I believe his father died in the end because he could not handle whatever mutation that Bruce has.

As to the rest of your questions, it's a head scratcher for me also.

i thought his dad just became an entity that could absorb power and because of that abosorbed all the power/energy in the water freezing himself in.

anyways, the movie wasn't that bad, i thought it was better than the reviews were on it.

some questions about the movie:
some were answered but ill add to them

during the movie, it seem the Hulk just gets bigger and bigger....is this due to his ability to absorb the attacking energy and use it to his advantage?
in the comice books hulk was the strongest character ever--his strength was NEVER limited (nothing could stop him EVEN superman) and he got this because, as someone said, the angrier he got the larger and stronger he got and his intelligence was inversly affected.

what did his dad turn into at the end? still scratching head about this one.
his dad couldnt handle the power of the hulk--this deals with the morals that lee has with his characters. In the comic books, i believe, the hulk got his anger, the real fuel for him, from his abusive father; in the movie his father killed him mom. This is the idea that emotional abuse and pain can be much more severe than physical abuse and pain.
i also gave a better answer to this in my answer to the last question

what happened to his lab partner after the accident? did he explode like the frog?
Like in the comic book, not the same way of doing so, bruce shields someone else from gamma rays. Therefore the lab partner is a-okay. In the movie bruce even joked that the lab partner wont be going to the lab for a couple of days--lab partners takes a vacation to ease his nerves.

why did his dad need Bruce to finish his (dad's) evolution? didn't he get a sample of Bruce's hair? shouldn't that be enough?
the father needed power--his power was abosobing energy--and the hulk is a lifetime charge to him. Using that analogy for the end of the movie, bruce was too powerful for his father and "fried" him out--too much charge and a capacitor goes pop. Thats why his hair was useless, the father needed to get the hulks power and the power comes from his rage--in the comic books an abusive father and in the movie his father killing his mom.

I think it was due to very poor scale animation on the movies part. He never got "bigger" in the comic books (from what I remember), just stronger.

I didn't like the move after I watched it, but after reading some of the insight about the hulk that I didn't know before, it started to make some sense to me. It's alright I guess.

Whatever your feelings are about the Hulk (I liked it quite a bit myself), you have to admit the editing style was very cool.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on the editting. That's one aspect of the film that bothered me for some reason.

I guess I can see how it would be distracting -- either you really liked it or really didn't like it. However, at least it WAS different and unique.

I liked it..I thought it was brought out in a comic book style.

I enojyed the movie, and plan to get it when it comes out on DVD. Quite frankly, I suspect a lot of people hated it because the media was telling them they would. Plus they have the attention span of a toy poodle on speed.

Though it won't answer your question, you ought to read "Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex," a short story by Larry Niven, regarding the problems that Clark Kent and Lois Lane would encounter if they ever had sex. It's an amusing read. :D You can read it HERE.

Shotgun, its out on DVD now...

It wasn't bad...JC being in it helps quite a bit...but it was ok....I'd say about as good as Spiderman..
