Miss Watson better get some new roles soon before she's completely typecast as the dorky schoolgirl (maybe more acting lessons wouldn't hurt either?)

me too

to show how out of touch I am, I thought it was a cartoon, couldn't figure out the debate about the girl or even who she was, it wasn't until this picture that it all made sense.

I saw it weekend before last in Vegas. It was pretty good, though I was disappointed that they had to rush through so much of what was in the book. Of course even with all that cutting the movie is more than two hours long, so I can hardly blame them.

It's going to get worse too...the other books are soo much longer.
I'm banking on number five clocking in at 2.5~2.75 hours. Seven will probably be 3 hours since it's going to be the finale.

i'd rather have two movies for GOF - it was an idea bandied about by chris columbus, but alas they're doing only one. would have been awesome though - end the first half of book 4 at the yule ball, and then finish out book 4 with that dark tone and sad ending.

Rumour is that the 4th movie will be split into two parts. It's an old one though so there's a fair chance that it has been debunked by now, or maybe this new director just decided he'd rather not.

They might as well split GOF into two movies. That's double the money, an obvious choice.

This franchise is better than a printing press.
