Just watched Heros for the first time

Episode 1 is available for free download on XBL so I downloaded the HD version, pretty interesting show. A guy at work has raved about it for awhile but I never checked it out. I used to never watch tv but since I got hooked on Lost a few weeks ago I have started wanting to check out other shows. So does the show stay good? Get too cheesy?

its on NBC. along with a shitty title and a stupid premise, there's no way i would enjoy it. ive seen a few minutes of it and i hated it, all the way down to the dramatic camera-work.

Wowwww you saw a whole "few minutes" of it so you are obviously the one to turn to when one wants to know whether its worth watching or not... You would obviously have the best opinion, having seen a few minutes out of however many episodes were aired...

I've seen the entire first season, but I will not be watching the second season.

The show has a neat premise and starts out with only a few people having powers, then later on EVERYONE does and it gets very tired fast.

Agreed. Although she's hot I wish they'd off her character and her husband and keep the kid.

Honestly, I dont know if I have the stomach for another season of head splitting. It's one of those things that was kind of eerie cool the first couple times, but then it got to be kind of a routine celebration of the act.

And the inconsistencies within the various powers is distracting.



I think I'll just order the second season of Justice League Unlimited.

well, it get's cheesy for a while when it focuses too much on the super strong dual personality blond stripper...(srry, had too) but then it get's better. can't wait for season 2.

Bought it on HD at Wal-Mart yesterday. Unfortunately, they only sometimes have the same price as online, which the online price was the same as Amazon, but it was $10 more in the store.

Although ranting a bit about Wal-Mart, it annoys me how disorganized they can be when it comes to these new releases. There's two main entrances and sometimes they have movie displays up at each entrance. I came in the grocery side where they had a Blades of Glory and Kickin' it Old School display set up. They had some Heroes on DVD there too. So I pick up a couple things from the grocery section and head to electronics to find it on HD. I don't see it or the two new 360 games I wanted (ship date vs release date, that's a whole other rant). So I ask an employee if they have "Heroes in HD" and he just tells me no. A bit disparaged at this, I go to the front of the store and see a Heroes display in front of the GM entrance. I go up and what do I see? The center of the display has "Heroes in HD!" That mother fucker. I was so tempted just to go back and say, "Hey, can I pay for this Heroes in HD back here?" But I did not. It's a bit annoying to ever find an HD movie of sorts in there. Because you expect there to be some stock in the electronics section, but noooo! It's either in the front or in the back, but never both. For example, Blades of Glory was in HD in the back.

Awesome show. I don't think it's cheezy at all. The whole season was great, but the season finale could have been better.

Yeah, every time it would switch to a Nikki scene, I'd sigh a little inside. That's gotta be the worst, most uninteresting character in the entire show.
