this is from my team mates on the loughborough university lifesaving team. one of our team members has got cancer. for the second time.

he had testicular cancer a year ago, but now its spread to his lungs and lymph nodes. hes the fittest guy i know, practly lives in the gym. hes done rugby, gymnastics, swimming and even tried for great brtains rowing squad.

its very sad its happened to him and he doesnt deserve it

we are competing in the european champs for lifesaving and were looking for people to sponsor us. were looking to raise about £2000 and its all going to charity run by sir steve redgrave (one of britains best rowers)

if any of you would like to help that would be much appreciated

Cancer cells break off from the main growth and spread through your system. Usually the lymph nodes catch them, but there they just grow. Thats why they say we caught it before it spread.

yes cancer spreads like theres no tomorow

i hope theyve caught it early, but by the breathing problems hes had it must be pretty bad
