I've never heard of an ECS graphics card (motherboard maybe?)...

You need to calm down man !O_O! Things will be okay. Follow mfenn's build, he did a lot better pricing things out and he has ended up with a better system. I know how you get that itch (I do as well), but not being patient will lead to problems with math, problems with part compatibility, and problems with your build due to negligence. Just calm down and think for a bit. It will do you a world of good.

Should I be worried that I can't find any reviews on the ECS NGTX460-1GPI-F? Is ECS a good company? The warranty seems solid. 2yr labor / 3yr parts

Also thanks to Danny Bui from hardforum helping me come up with a new setup.

ECS is pretty much crap actually. Everything else looks fine, but keep in mind that it will be lower performance than the setup that I recommended.

heh, okay

Well first let me start by just saying Thank You to everyone who's posted here and who also share their expertise and experience to help this website and its forums to be the 'go to place' for myself and many others for great deals, expertise, and more!

To rephrase my question, is overclocking this thing viable? I have no 'real' experience oc'ing and have heard the 4th core on these amd's is sometimes unlockable... anyone able to shed some light for me?

Never count on Unlocking. Again, you should look at mfenn's build if you want a better system for less money. He has a Quad Core in his build that you won't need to unlock.

The Black Ed. of any modern AMD processor can be overclocked with ease from my understanding.
