Anyone else do these updates on a laptop just in case the power goes out or even flickers? My power is pretty stable and I don't have issues but I have been bitten by Murphy's Law more than once...
my camera was still on the original firmware so I had to update from 1.01 -> 1.35 -> 2.01 - > 3.01
The first two updates took about 5 minutes each and those were the longest 5 minutes spans ever since the updater was actually being done from the laptop...
The last update from 2.01 -> 3.01 was done from an SD card...
