I purchased the case from Directron , which is about half a mile from my ofice here in Houston.

The case is really layed out nicely and has lots of room - must say I am impressed.

Directron is selling it on sale at $89 which seems like a fair price.

Haven't installed my system yet- but did test fire the power supply and it does appear to be much quieter than my other cases.

I think I am going to really like this case- the quality seems very good.

One thing about the power supply is that it is a "Smart" power supply fan in that the more load there is on the power supply the faster the fan spins. Now I havn't tried putting a load on the PSU while it's outside my case to see if would get louder but I suspect it would.

But if your power supply dies, you might as well just chuck it in the garbage, because you won't get Antec to do anything about it.

I'm getting my sx1030b tomorrow, according to ups :D I don't know about the power supply... hopefully I'll be able to sell it off to someone because I really want to find a good 400+ watt PS to replace it.

glad you like your case! hopefully my experiance will be as positive :)

Did it come with the extra hard drive cage that mounts in front of
the fan ?

I love my Antec sx830. I haven't seen a better case for the money. Especially when it was $81 delivered at Onvia. It is so easy to work in, very roomy.

OK - Finally got a chance this evening to switch all my pc components into my new antec sx830 case.

Yeah, mine came with the extra hard drive cage mounted behind one of the front fans.

BTW- the case comes with two 80mm fans already installed in the rear.

I bought 2 panaflow 80mm fans for the front. They are very quiet.

Even with my pep66 and delta 39cpm cooler blowing my unti is much quieter than my prior case with a much quieter cpu cooler.

Install was easy- plenty of room.

Power supply is quiet.

I am running a duron 800 overclocked to 1 gig.

Prior cpu temps averaged 109 to 114 F- this with my old case open ! Was about 5 degree F hotter with the old case closed.

Now running 102 to 105F with the antec case closed. In addition to the antec case I upgraded to an Alpha pep66(delta 38 cpm fan) and used Artic Silver.

If the temperatures are maintained at these levels the upgrade was well worth it to me.

This is a good case !

I love my Antec too. Only thing is I just slid a floppy into the Zip hole again!
Now I got to take the side off and retrieve it.

So, I guess there's no need to ask everyone if this case is any good....I was just about to do that since they have it on Amazon (no bargain) but i've got my MCI/Amazon GC burnin' a hole in my pocket.

I am currently using a InWin Mid-Tower with a 250 PS. To me it seems a little cramped inside. Plus I have no case fans other than the stock front one. I was just about to by 3 panaflo's from the FS/T forum.

There are other things i'd like to get, but I noticed this one and thought i'd look in to it. What do you guys think?
