It is halfway through and I have no idea what it is about, but wtf? Is this just "loser on display" or will the plot go somewhere at some point?
 
Wait until Pedro wants to run for president. That's kind of the main plot.

It's a hilarious movie, character-wise.
 
you have to watch the whole movie

you can't jump in the middle of it

you still might not get it, but you have to watch it from the beginning

I'd have to say if I didn't know about the movie and watched it when it first came out I would've hated it. but after hearing people talk about it and THEN watching it, I enjoyed it a lot more. finally got all the jokes people were making. 🙂
