Is gnutella another one of those steal your music because you have no morals/ethics/money things?

how does it compare to imesh?

i've been using imesh but it seems to mess up my connection somehow (i'm on dsl)

i know it seems odd but it's happened too many times to be coincidence

I hate all those crappy peer to peer filesharing programs. None of them are any good. I'll stick with NNTP, FTP and IRC, thank you.

hey just downloaded bear share the other day, seems pretty cool:D
I don't think there's a moral issue here, its just like borrowing a cd from your friend but instead of walking over there to get it, you're using that brand new cable modem you just got...hehe

I dont see how morals fit in with mp3 sharing.
I trade live sets that are not available on CD, and NEVER will be.
Is that wrong to trade them?

SammySon,

What you do is probably not "illegal/immoral" but you have to understand that for MOST people who are doing the "sharing" -- it's not live music bootlegs they're dealing with.

anyone have an alternate link for bearshare 2.0.9 ?

the one through cnet downloads doesn't work

I dont see why trading a few files behind that industries back that, really, had no ethics or morals to begin with.
So your stealing from the thieves.

gnutella is a massive POS. There is no way the architecture is going to be able to handle the massive influx of Napster abandoners. Crash baby, crash!!!
