I was 13 points away from passing. Talk about a blow to my pysche. Even worse I probably have to shell out $207 to take it again. Aw fudge....

Nice try man. Man they raised the price from when i took it, I paid like $92.
Next time you should have no problem, since you know what it is like now.

I guess they changed the scores. I took it in 2000 and got 93% on it. Always thought the test was piece of cake. Then again...

Sorry to hear about your mishap. I'm taking the test myself in a few weeks. I have the study book (Exam Cram2) but I've been so busy at work that I haven't had much time to study an take the pretests.

I know better than to go in there unprepared; not when my $200 is on the line! I assume you studied really hard? Just asking...

You'll get it next time though!!! Good luck.

After I do the Network+, I want to take that Server+ test...I hear it's helpful.

Could you tell me what books you guys are studying from? I've started studying for it but noticed that the books I have were printed in 1999. I would assume these are too old?! They are the Coriolis Exam Prep and Exam Cram books. Can anyone tell me if these will be alright or if I should purchase different ones?

They should be fine. They only thing they may not mention is the wireless aspects, like access points and 802.11b standards. Those can easly be looked up online. Good luck.
