i'll side w/ you migace, as no one else seems to.

it shouldn't matter what the sub thinks of the person, that person is paying to take the damn class, he (or she) should have as little or as much time as they want to take the test. is the sub going to say that a person is not going to be able to hand the test in 1/2 hour early, because that would be approximately the same thing.

sure, the 5 min thing might have been a little boast (or might not, we do not know the nature of the test) but let's give migace the benefit of the doubt.

but sure, you probably shouldn't have spouted off. but i bet it felt good at the time.

Thats not the point. The point is that he is not taking responiblity for his actions. Instead of asking nicely to take the test and being cool about it, he bragged about how he could do it in 5 minutes, and then when told otherwise, he told off the person giving the test. I showed up for a test 15 minutes late because I overslept, and asked to take the test...professor refused. I said ok and sat down so I could at least get the answers to study with. I did NOT fly off the handle because I knew I screwed up and was paying for it. He screwed up, not once, but twice. And he expects to take the test now? Hah. Have fun with your 0 bro, I have NO sympathy for you.

If there was 45 minutes left, why did you have to make some snide remark like "I can take it in 5?"

Should have walked in, asked for the remaining time to take it, and done your best.

Well, let me clear somethings up. I did ask the proffesor to please give me the remaining time (45 min).....more than enough time to take and ace the test. I didn't brag about being able to take the test in 5 min......I tried to come to an agreement with the proffesor before finally telling him to give me just 5 min. I tried to bargain with him for about 15 min after I got there. To top it all off he was being rude to my girlfriend (major freakin' violation) and another friend. As I said...NOBODY steps all over me AND my friends....I just ain't gonna take it.

For those of you who want to know how the test went:
I went back today and, to the disappoinment of many of you, I took the test. Some proffesors are just to nice🙂 Not only did I take the test and ace it, but I did it in 5 MINUTES!!! I timed myself to see what would have happened that day...it took me exactly 4 min and 49 seconds. I know what i'm capable of and I didn't need no fruity little proffesor tell me I couldn't do it. So now I have an A in the class. The next step is finding something to read on anger managment 🙂

You sure that it had nothing to do with the typical exam policy which does not let in students once the exam is 30 mins past?

Do that to a "not so nice" professor and get ready for the hardest test you have ever experienced.

most profs would not even bother to let you re-take such a test, and for good reason

Wow you got lucky! The professor made a bad call letting you take it. Personally I would NOT have.

But good thing he did. At least the dumb mistake you made won?t hurt you.

Oh and drop the ego attitude. Nobody here is impressed. You were stupid for going off on him and you should really start to care what people think about you. IF when you ever graduate (if you can start showing up on time). And get a real job you better care what people think of you. IF not you will be looking for jobs all the time.

My ex pushed a subsitiute teacher once. She got suspended for a week & was given like 50 hours of community service. She was a good kid.

Show some respect for the teacher u little f-tard. Not to mention ur story's so full of holes it looks worse than swiss cheese. Grow up dude.

A word of warning. Pull that in something in other than community college (and most community colleges would not let you do it) and you will have your ass handed to you in your hat. If I came into a class 1/2 hour late, I would have been asked to leave. If I had come in 1/2 hour late to take a test, I had better had been mugged and covered with my own blood to prove it.
