ok back on topic... here are my pictures from the same ceremony that Amol attended (for the most part)
we stayed at the watergate hotel
this is the miniature graduation of the elliot school for international affairs -- individual schools of GWU had smaller graduations that were more personalized
the big day for all GWU schools was sunday, may 22nd
the view of the stage from where i was standing
if you look closely at this white house shot, you can see president bush's motorcade on their way to church

the s500 is the same size as the SD300, i believe. i got it for portability as well, but now i'm leaning towards SLR and probably even a powershot S2 IS for that 12X zoom (31 more days until its release!)
i want to become a better photographer
edit: and now that it's 5:30, i think i'm going to bed.

I took a Photography class in 9th grade to fulfill my 1 year fine arts requirement and I really got into it
I'm looking to rediscover it this summer
The Huntington Gardens are literally walking distance from my house and it provides so many photo opportunities

I dont have a single Indian in my school...I wouldnt mind having a few Indians at school.. There's a pakistani who is a good friend of mine but I do think that we need more Indians or South Asians for that matter.. ( including some Fob's ) .. feels nice talking to fellow Indians in a native language
