Went to my sisters college graduation last weekend in DC (The George Washington University) and took this picture ...

The angle is different from most pics

Taken with my little Canon SD300, I'm upgrading to a Digital Rebel XT soon :D

i took about 900MB of pictures (at 5mp) and wanted to post a number of them my unofficial "sister graduated from GW" thread, but i guess you beat me to it. i'm still sifting through the pictures.

cuz you didn't tell me you were gonna be there and i would've looked for you. :p

my husband and i got some really nice shots of president bush's motorcade which we believe was headed to church that morning.

i got a bad sunburn at the graduation. :p

Ahaha, I used the commencement book as shade :p

The sun was bearing down pretty bad that day ...

Kinda wish the sun was in such a position so that the torrent of planes taking off from DCA would have provided a bit of temporary shade :p

hehe. didn't quite happen. the planes were too far away (i was playing with my camera the entire time trying to zoom in on them in the sky)

i still will post pictures... hm... maybe i'll start now :eek: (and to think i was planning on going to bed two hours ago...)
