Just these two questions for now:

Is it politically correct to be politically correct?
Is common sense, common sense?

Remember, there's no sense in nonsense...especially when the heats hot.

Discuss.

Moved from P&N.

First of all let me say that when I saw the author of this thread I had no choice but to stop in and take a peek at it.:p Now to address the questions that have been presented to us.
  1. Is being politically incorrect more correct than being politically correct? Being correct always elicits a feeling of euphoria that can be associated with a sense of accomplishment so I say that being politically correct is the preferred choice.
  2. Is common sense really common intelligence? No, common sense is really practical intelligence.

I would say that if you have an unexamined ego you would naturally assume that whatever opinion it is that you may have about anything there would be tha unconscious presence of a certainty tha that very opinion is the one that is both common sensical and politically correct. I would hazard the additional guess that if you had a transcendent ego, had via self examination died to your personal opinions that the question would hold little relevance.

I always wanted to try P&N, all the time I thought about it and this was literally the best I could come up with. Guess it wasn't good enough.
Still, I got some interesting and thought provoking responses. I need a muffin...dang, when was the last time I even had a muffin? Being poor sucks.

It's really really hard to stop being poor. But I highly recommend it.

Indeed.
And I shoot myself with my stupid morals. Why wont I lie, cheat, and steal for money...I'm really good at it otherwise.
So many times I could have been un-poor, but decided it wasn't the "right" thing to do...even if nobody could ever find out.

Oh, yea, being dishonest is a lot easier. Scamming people, even legally, is a super short cut to income.

It takes a LOT of hard work to ace an LSAT or GMAT or GRE, then a LOT of LOT of hard work to ace law school or b-school or engineering school. Then a LOT OF LOT OF LOT of hard work to move up in the ranks of law or business or engineering.

But if you did that, then a decade from now you wouldn't be poor.

Hard work isn't my problem...

Figuring out how to get treated fairly and paid fairly were the problems, until I got fired and realized I could be equally poor without the job. Now I work hard for friends/family and usually ask for/get no pay...just living as minimally as I can and saving what few dollars I can dig up.

Let's talk about that. What are your particular problems? It's quite possible you just need a job that fits people like yourself.

Shoot yourself....... Hehe, you have saved the only treasure that matters, self respect. People laugh that virtue is its only reward, mocking this notion that it is its own reward, but that do so because that do not own that treasure and thus have no real self respect. Let your treasure shine. Trust in love. Your post made somebody happy.
