I think both are great buys, but they aren't for everybody. If I was shopping in that price range, they would probably be the only American cars that I would consider (including the H2) ... but I would probably end up with a GS430 with every option and nice set of 20"s, an LS430, or a new GX470.

Spaced, those are nice choices. I've never really been a fan of Japanese cars but Lexus makes some nice trucks. My ultimate ride would be an SL55 AMG, i'd be able to drive it like 2 months a year in this town but if I could afford a car like that I could afford to live somewhere warmer.

If you can consider both an Escalade and a Corvette, buy the damn Escalade and let someone who can appreciate it have the Corvette. Stick with the macho mommyvans yourself.

The C6 will be in 2 years and they also have a 'limited' Z06 coming out in 2004 only about 2500 to be made I would get that instead
