i'm glad he finally got out of that sh1tty county jail...now he actually has access to tennis courts, a baseball field, actually gets to go outside

he can also get a radio now, and can finally call me on my cell phone, since he can get phone cards...doesn't have to make collect calls anymore

much better food as well...

he says the inmates call it "Club Fed" LOL

he's been sending me some badass artwork...since he has nothing but time on his hands it's coming out pretty good 🙂 i've been hanging it up over my computer

well...i guess thats all

He is in prison, he should not have access to any of that stuff.

Ladies and Gentlemen, our tax dollars at work

i wondered how long it would take for this to show up

I've got to agree. I don't think they should have all that nice stuff, and before you go off, I have a brother that is in prison, too. I still don't think my tax dollars should be funding "Club Fed".

Put criminals in a nicer jail, and they will commit less crime inside the jail and outside of it once they get back to the real world.

you have a right to an opinion, just like everyone else

i just don't think that just because you're in prison you should have to sit in a cell all day and do absolutley nothing...its not like they're giving them xboxes and computers in their cells

How long is he in for?

5 yrs

Must have had a horrible lawyer to get five years for possessing an uzi and a .22. I know a guy who got three years for manslaughter, and it was reduced to two years through appeal.

state is a lot easier than federal when it comes to leniancy

if his charges hadn't of been picked up by the feds he probably could have gotten off with time served in county and probation for 5 yrs or so

No... our tax dollars at work are the fact that he's in prison for possessing something that is every person's constitutional right to possess.

He stole the .22, he had no right to possess it.

You said stolen .22, one can only assume without clarification. Next you're going to tell me it was a semi-auto uzi.

That's right...you shouldn't sit there and do nothing. Inmates ought to be comitted to hard labor. If we're locking them up, we might as well make them do something useful.

My tax dollars do not need to be funding remotely tasteful food, radios, tennis courts, or any of the like. Prison is supposed to suck as much as possible.

well...it was stolen, just not by him...and no, the uzi was full auto

guess i should have clarified about the .22 though

That's what I'm thinking. Either his lawyer is awful or there's more we're not being told.
