My 9 yr. old 15" trinitron can do 1280x1024.
At that rez., no need for AA for any game.
But then who games on a 15" CRT anymore?

i'm pretty sure powerstrip lets you play with refresh rates

i use it to fix the screen size on my 21" crt since the monitor controls went out :(

17 inch CRTs are pretty much made for 1152x864, by the way. And it gives you a lot more headroom than 1024x768.

I agree, I ran my 17" CRT at 1152x864 before I switched to LCDs this year.

lmao, all the monitors are set, by default, to 800x600 where I work.
I switched a co-workers to a better resolution - she looked at me like I was a God or something.
Hopefully word doesn't get to the wrong person that I was so helpful... it's a big no no to play with the settings these days...

It's a bit too wide for me, I just like 1280x1024 ;).
